Decision Makers: Rev. Dr. William H. Lamar IV On How An Environmental Justice Movement Gains Traction

How bad is this climate crisis and how bad is it for Black communities in under served areas and regions? Where is the environmental justice movement today and what's needed to help it gain traction and grow? It's still increasingly difficult to mobilize communities around environmental and climate justice issues, especially as those voices are virtually ignored in mainstream media conversations - and particularly when disasters hit. How do we then reverse these climate inequities and environmental disaster trends unfolding right before our eyes in our communities? Where do we begin? Decision Makers raises these questions with Washington, D.C.-based Metropolitan A.M.E. Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. William H. Lamar IV.
