Multiracial Family Dynamics
WITF's series of virtual community conversations addressing systemic racism returns Thursday, March 18th
a WITF/TRJ feature
About …
55% of multiracial adults say they have been subjected to racial slurs or jokes. However, with our nation becoming more racially and ethnically diverse, understanding family dynamics and cultural identification and acceptance is more important than ever before.
Join us as we explore many of the dynamics within multiracial families. We‘ll also look at the differences that multiracial families experience with self-esteem and how having multiple ethnic backgrounds can impact self-identity.

Our goal is to to elevate underrepresented voices with special emphasis on giving young people a platform to discuss their views. Race and racism are uncomfortable topics. Our objective is to help serve as a catalyst for change by bringing people together to discuss possible solutions and inspire collective action.
