Prosperity Now, in partnership with the City of Orlando & Orange County, kicks off the first in a series of planning sessions to increase Black access to asset building initiatives in Central Florida

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Prosperity Now, the nation’s leading economic justice organization, is launching the “Enterprising Black Orlando Roundtable Series” in partnership with Enterprising Black Orlando and the Central Florida Foundation. This series brings together direct service providers and advocates across the Orlando metropolitan region to collectively increase Black community access to asset-building initiatives.
This first convening will center on Black-led Nonprofits and Small Businesses, where local nonprofit leaders and entrepreneurs will discuss the support needed to serve their community and to thrive as an operation, as well as practical and promising practices that have worked to build economic stability and wealth.
On that day, Prosperity Now will also release an exclusive Racial Wealth Divide in Orlando report, detailing city-level data on the state of racial economic inequities in the greater Orlando area. Register today here: https://ebononprofit.splashthat.com.
