#BEprepared: Coronavirus Response Activities
Various organizations are having planning sessions on how to best prepare vulnerable and underserved communities
Friday, March 13, 2020 at 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. EDT - The Institute for Diversity and Inclusion in Emergency Management (I-DIEM) will host an emergency conference call to discuss the impacts of the pandemic on our nation's most vulnerable communities and groups. Originally they were looking to HWC as a possible host, but they were able to find another line. For those interested, they can register to participate on this important call.
Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. EDT - The NAACP has called on public health and policy experts to address how this crisis is affecting our communities. On Sunday, March 15 at 8pm EDT, we will host an Emergency Tele-Town Hall about the coronavirus and its impact on communities of color. If interested you can sign up to attend.
